About Us
Andy started decorating back in 1997, at the age of 18, where he trained for 3 years and then went on to work full time as a qualified decorator. He quickly became recognised in the trade for his attention to detail and hard work ethic and would be the “go to” decorator that various companies wanted to employ. In 2005, Andy was given more responsibility and was promoted to the position of decorating supervisor, overseeing a team of 15 painters. After a couple of years in this position Andy wanted to become self reliant so he started advertising his own brand, Advanced Décor. After a year of hard work and promotion of his brand, Andy was able to break away from his previous position and dedicate all of his time to Advanced Décor.
Being self employed has given him the chance to see how various companies have handled projects. Along the way, Andy has gained a lot of experience, which has enabled Advanced Décor to expand and diversify the range of services that the company can offer, from decorating right the way through to full home renovation works.

We have previously won “Best Decorating Standard 2012” from London Borough Council at the Lister Community School. We were also heavily involved in a much broader range of activities at the school ranging from rendering to carpentry where we generally organise and oversee all such work.
